The 2012-13 Coach's Meeting is scheduled for May 23 from 11 am - 2 pm at the Harris County Department of Education Administration Building in Suite 100C. The address is 6300 Irvington Boulevard, Houston, TX 77022-5618.

The Texas Academic Decathlon Coaches' Meeting for 2012-2013 Strategic Planning/Changes will be Wednesday, May 23, 2012 from 11 am to 2 pm. We will meet at the Harris County Department of Education Administration Building in Suite 100C. Address is 6300 Irvington Boulevard, Houston, TX 77022-5618.

Lunch will be provided. We ask that only one coach per school attends and coaches will be responsible for their travel expenses.

Coaches, please send your suggestions for discussion by May 1^st so we may compile an agenda and distribute to attendees.

This year's Coaches of the Year are:

Large School: Robert Layne, Pearland High School of Pearland ISD
Medium School: David Gear, Rockwall High School of Rockwall ISD
Small School: Vicki Rowe, Taylor High School of Taylor ISD

Each winner received a trophy and a $1,000 check.
