On top of this, Academic Decathlon pushed me to learn how to study, and to get over my difficult struggles in areas I used to be uncomfortable with. In regards to speech and interview specifically, Academic Decathlon taught me to be comfortable presenting information about myself in a coherent and concise manner. Finally, with regards to the science subject, Academic Decathlon inspired me to continue studying astronomy, which has become a passion of mine."
